Arriving and Planning
If driving, arrive at the Ticket and Transportation Center (TTC) one hour before opening. This will give you plenty of time to get from the parking lot to the TTC. Take the “resort” monorail to the park’s entrance. This monorail makes a few stops, but the lines to board it are shorter. And above all, its amazing. The monorail is a favorite for a reason!
Disney’s FastPass+ is a lifesaver at this park. It will help reduce wait times for must-see attractions, including the Haunted Mansion, Pirates of the Caribbean, Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin, Big Thunder Mountain and Space Mountain.
The best parade viewing spots are those on the curbs along Main Street U.S.A., but they can get a bit crowded. If you are looking for a less crowded area, head to Frontierland. No matter where you choose to sit, find a spot at least 30 minutes before the parade begins.

Disney's Hollywood Studios®
Movie magic comes to life at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, awash in the glitz and glamour of Hollywood’s Golden Age. Step into the action with attractions based on blockbuster movies and top TV shows, and delight in exciting entertainment that puts you center stage. With the vibrancy of a bustling movie set, this park features 8 sections: Hollywood Boulevard, Echo Lake, Sunset Boulevard, Streets of America, Commissary Lane, Pixar Place, Mickey Avenue and Animation Courtyard areas.
Many of the attractions at Disney’s Hollywood Studios are inside making it the best park to visit on a rainy day. Not everyone realizes this, so when it starts to rain they leave the park. Which is why you should stay.
The first thing you need to do when you get to the park is to try to get a boarding pass for Rise of the Resistance. You can’t get a boarding group unless you are in the park, or in the park entrance area. Once you get that you can plan your day! If you have an early boarding pass then head right for Galaxy’s Edge. If you have a later pass then you can head deeper into the park.
FastPass+ and More!
Get the most out of your FastPass+ by reserving Slinky Dog Dash for right after the park opens. Then, before the park gets crowded, head to Toy Story Midway Mania. Then you need to try to catch Rock’n’Roller Coaster and Tower of Terror while the lines are still low. On a good day lines should still be short at this time. If not, use the single rider line for Rock’n’Roller Coaster or wait until about an hour before closing when crowds start to thin.
Fanstasmic! is the park’s most popular show and you should make plans to arrive at least one hour before show time. There are places to get a drink and snack inside, or you can grab a meal at one of Hollywood Boulevard’s quick service restaurants before entering. If there are two shows, plan to attend the last one, which will give you more time in the park while a majority of guests are at the first showing. And there is usually a fireworks show in the summer at the heart of the park, so make sure to check the park times for your intended trip!

Disney's Animal Kingdom® Theme Park
Disney legend has it that after a freak winter storm blanketed the area with snow, Florida’s first ski resort was born. When temperatures returned to normal, the powdery snow turned to slippery slush. Slalom courses, bobsled and toboggan runs became downhill waterslides. The chair lift carried swimmers instead of skiers. The ski jump became the tallest, fastest waterslide in the nation.
You are invited to what has become Disney’s Blizzard Beach, the most slushy, slippery, exhilarating beach water park anywhere!
Arrive at the water parks early (15-30 minutes before opening) to guarantee you find the seat you want. The best spot at Blizzard Beach is to the far left of the wave pool near the Warming Hut, which puts you close to everything, including food and restrooms.
Disney’s Blizzard Beach is best known for its water thrill rides, which are very popular. Enjoy Summit Plummet, Downhill Double Dipper and the Chair Lift early in the day while lines are shorter. Then plan to spend the remainder of the day enjoying the pools and relaxing, until crowds start to thin again around 2 p.m.
Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park
Escape to Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park for a storm of fun in the sun! Snorkel with sharks, stingrays and tropical fish in the coral reef. Plunge down rushing rapids, sunbathe on the sandy beach and glide down the lazy Not on a relaxing raft ride. After an epic typhoon hurled surfboards into palm trees and tossed boats like toys, the storm-soaked Mount Mayday became a topsy-turvy oasis of water-filled adventure!
Typhoon Lagoon has better theming than Blizzard Beach, an amazing wave pool and a shark reef (definitely a must-see). Before arriving, take a look at the park’s map to determine where you plan to spend a majority of your day. This is the area where you should try to find a seat near. Consider renting a cabana which will guarantee you reserved seating for the entire day.
Complimentary life jackets are available near the wave pool and should be worn by less experienced swimmers. Life jackets go fast, so make sure to grab them upon arrival.
